Scott has enjoyed painting for nearly 25 years, dedicating more time to the craft in recent years as other hobbies have taken a backseat. His artistic journey has been shaped by studies with Huntsville artist Chuck Long, as well as renowned national artists such as Keiko Tanabe, Dan Marshall, Iain Stewart, and Geoff Allen.
Scott’s work has garnered attention in various publications, including the December 2018 issue of The Lakeside Life magazine, and more recently in Madison Living and 256 magazines.
A Signature Member and Board Member of the Watercolor Society of Alabama (WSA), Scott has participated in numerous exhibits, including those at the Alabama Center for the Arts in Decatur, the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope, and the Jemison Carnegie Heritage Hall Museum in Talladega.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Scott is a proud husband of over 30 years to Sharon, and they are parents to two adult sons. After selling their computer services business, Scott and Sharon have embraced full-time retirement at their lakeside home in Crane Hill, Alabama.
