Scott has painted, off and on, for nearly 20 years, splitting time between hobbies and activities too numerous to mention. As competing interests have fallen by the wayside, he has been able to apply more time to the art and craft of painting. Scott studied with Huntsville artist Chuck Long, as well as national artists Keiko Tanabe and Dan Marshall.
Scott’s art has been featured in the December 2018 issue of “The Lakeside Life” magazine, and also recently appeared in both the “Madison Living” and “256” magazines. He has permanent exhibitions at Brother’s on Smith Lake in Cullman, AL, as well as All Four Real Estate in Jasper.
Scott is a Signature member of the Watercolor Society of Alabama (WSA) having shown in multiple WSA exhibits, including those at the Alabama Center for the Arts (Decatur), Eastern Shore Art Center (Fairhope), and the Jemison Carnegie Heritage Hall Museum (Talladega).
Scott has been married to Sharon for over three decades, and together they own and operate Ryan Creek Technology, a computer services business. They split their time between Madison and Crane Hill, AL.
